Membership Eligibility

Anyone can become a member of Ideal Credit Union. There are two paths to eligibility:

Live, work, worship, attend school or volunteer in Anoka, Carver, Chisago, Dakota, Hennepin, Isanti, Pierce, Ramsey, Saint Croix, Scott, Sherburne, Washington or Wright counties.
Or make a one-time $5 donation to the John D. Miller Foundation during the Share Account opening process. The foundation was created by a group of postmasters who believed in the importance of education. They joined forces with the St. Paul Postal Employees Credit Union, now Ideal CU. Since 1980, they've awarded over $350,000 to deserving students in Western Wisconsin and Eastern Minnesota.
