We have partnered with Zelle® to bring you a fast and easy way to send and receive money with friends, family and people you know. With Zelle®, you can send money directly from your account to enrolled recipients in minutes, all from the convenience of online banking or our mobile app.
- Know: Only use Zelle® to send money to friends, family and other people you trust.
- Verify: Make sure your recipient's name, U.S. mobile phone number and email address are correct before sending money.
- Be Aware: If a payment situation feels off, it probably is. Trust your gut and investigate.
- Enroll or log in to the Ideal Credit Union Digital Banking App
- Select "Message Center" under Tools
- Compose a new message
- Select the subject: "Request Zelle® Service"
- Answer the questions in the body of the message and send message
Once the request has been submitted, it may take up to two business days to receive a response.

If you’re already enrolled with Zelle®, you’re all set - the money will go straight into your account, usually within minutes.

- Select Ideal Credit Union
- Follow the instructions to enroll and receive your payment
Make sure you enroll using the same email or mobile number where you got the notification.
Yes. We use the same security technology for Zelle® and Mobile Check Deposit as we do for your accounts.
You can send, request or receive money with Zelle®. To get started:
- Log in to the Ideal CU Digital Banking App
- Go to Message Center under Tools
- Compose a new message and select “Request Zelle® Service”
- Answer the questions and send
- Once enrolled, sending money is easy - enter your recipient’s email or U.S. mobile number, the amount and hit Send. Most transfers arrive in minutes.
They must be enrolled through a participating bank or credit union. Check the list at Zellepay.com. If they’re not listed, use another payment method.
No. Both accounts must be based in the U.S.
Zelle® payments can’t be reversed. You can only cancel if the recipient hasn’t enrolled yet. To check, go to your activity page, select the payment, and choose “Cancel This Payment.” If that option isn’t available, contact us right away.
Once the recipient is enrolled, the money goes directly to their account and can’t be canceled. Always send money only to people you know and trust, and double-check the email or mobile number before sending.

There’s no limit on how much you can receive, but the sender may have limits set by their bank.
