There are several ways to manage your Ideal CU Debit Card or Credit Card using Ideal Digital Banking and other convenient tools. Monitor and track transactions, set up custom alerts, enable your cards for use with your favorite digital wallets and more.

Manage your debit card
Managing your Ideal CU Debit Card is simple. Select from a task below to learn more.
Activate your Ideal CU Debit Card
To activate your new Ideal CU Debit Card, please call 800-992-3808.
Reset your PIN
To reset your Ideal CU Debit Card PIN, please call 651-770-7000 during regular business hours.
Monitor and track transactions
Ideal Digital Banking keeps you in the know about transactions on your Ideal CU Debit Card.
- Log into Ideal Digital Banking (desktop or mobile).
- Click on the checking account linked to your debit card.
- Your transaction log will appear.
From the transaction log you will be able to sort and filter your transactions by date, amount and more.
Set up Debit Card Alerts
Free Debit Card Alerts allow you to set up custom alerts in Ideal Digital Banking to be sent to your mobile phone and/or email address. You choose the alerts you want to receive and how, and you can also customize your alerts.
Click to Pay with Mastercard
No need to reach for your card when shopping online. All you need is your email address and Click to Pay sends you a secure one-time code so you can choose your saved Mastercard and pay online quickly and securely. No more passwords to remember, or forget.

Monitor & Track Transactions
You can monitor and track your Ideal CU Visa Credit Card transactions using Ideal Digital Banking.
On mobile:
- Log into Ideal CU App
- Click on Credit Card from list of accounts
- Your transaction log will appear
If you would also like to see your monthly credit card statement, follow the desktop instructions below.
On desktop:
- Log into Ideal Digital Banking on desktop
- Click on Accounts in menu and select Credit Cards
- Credit Card portal will open in new window
- On the Account Home Page, hover over Statements & Activity and Select View Statements
Block & Unblock your card when needed
You are able to block or unblock the use of your Ideal CU Visa Credit Card in the event that it is lost or stolen. Block & Unblock your card in minutes:
On mobile:
- Log into Ideal CU App
- Click on More
- Click on Tools and select Card Management
- Click on the card you wish to manage
- From the options list, click Block / Unblock Card
- Follow the onscreen prompts
On desktop:
- Log into Ideal Online Banking
- Click on Tools in the menu and select Card Management
- Click on the card you wish to manage
- From the options list, click Block / Unblock Card
- Follow the onscreen prompts
Request a Balance Transfer
Balance transfers allow you to transfer balances you may have elsewhere to your Ideal CU Visa Credit Card. This can help you pay off higher-rate debt elsewhere with Ideal CU's low credit card rates. You can easily request a balance transfer at any time within Ideal Digital Banking.
On mobile:
- Log into Ideal CU App
- Click on More
- Click on Tools and select Card Management
- Click on the card you wish to manage
- From the options list, click on Balance Transfer
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete your request
On desktop:
- Log into Ideal Digital Banking
- Click on Tools in the menu and select Card Management
- Click on the card you wish to manage
- From the options list, click on Balance Transfer
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete your request
Set up Visa Transaction & Fraud Alerts
Visa fraud notifications are designed to help make you aware of possible purchases made without your authorization. They allow you to quickly reply to confirm the activity as valid or that it was not authorized to prevent additional fraud on your account.
Set up Travel Notices
Heading out of town? Let Ideal CU know so that your credit card will continue to work for purchases while you are away. You can easily set up travel notices within Ideal Digital Banking.

- Click on More

- Click on the card you wish to manage
- From the options list, click on Travel Notices
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete your request
