(Woodbury, MN –November 13, 2020) – With Thanksgiving right around the corner, Ideal Credit Union is once again helping to feed hungry families by giving away two complete Thanksgiving Turkey Dinners prepared by HyVee. The pre-made turkey dinners serve 8 and include a turkey (10-12 lbs.), two large sides of mashed potatoes, turkey gravy (32 oz.), a large side of green bean casserole, a large side of stuffing, and 12 dinner rolls.

The random drawing is open to legal residents age 18 and older. To enter, simply "Like" and follow the Ideal Credit Union Facebook page, and post a comment on what you are most thankful for this year. To date more than 65 followers have commented on Ideal’s Thanksgiving Meal Giveaway post, and that number continues to grow. Most express thanks for the health and safety of their family despite the ongoing pandemic, and share wishes for a brighter holiday season. One of last year’s Thanksgiving meal winners, Carrie Reagan, wished everyone luck this year and offered her thanks for being selected in 2019. “I sure appreciated this last year and it was delicious. Last year’s Thanksgiving meal giveaway garnered a total of 350 comments during the course of the promotion. Ideal anticipates that number will grow in 2020 thanks to an increase in Facebook followers and engagement.
