Woodbury, MN. January 23, 2025 – Ideal Credit Union is pleased to announce Peter Olsen, Board Chair for Ideal Credit Union, was recently appointed to the America’s Credit Union National Volunteer Leadership Committee.

Peter Olsen is one of twelve credit union leaders nationwide selected to serve on the Volunteer Leadership Committee. This committee acts as a strategic leadership resource for America’s Credit Unions, helping to shape strategies for strengthening volunteer-focused initiatives, with an emphasis on volunteer education.

Olsen was elected to the Ideal Credit Union volunteer board of directors in 2011 and has held the position of board chair since 2019. Olsen will serve a two-year term on the ACU committee.
