Smart Transactions
Did you know? IDA is available 24/7 to help you with Smart Transactions! Whether you need to check your balance, make payments or transfer funds, IDA is here to make your life easier any time of day or night. Follow these simple steps to get started and take full advantage of our convenient services.
Step 1: Authenticating Your Account
To ensure your security, we'll need to authenticate your account. Here’s how:
Authenticate Your Account:
- When prompted, click Yes, Authenticate to begin.
- Enter Your Information: First, enter your Account Number or full Social Security Number.
- Followed by the Last 4 digits of your SSN (if using Account Number) or enter your full Credit or Debit Card Number.
Click Submit after entering your details to complete the authentication process.
Step 2: Checking Your Balances
Once authenticated, you can view your account balances:
- Deposit Accounts: Check the balances of all your deposit accounts to stay on top of your savings and checking accounts.
- Loan Accounts: Easily view the balances of your loans to keep track of what you owe.
Step 3: Making Payments
You can make various types of payments through Smart Transactions:
- Loan and Mortgage Payments: Pay your loans and mortgages directly through Smart Transactions.
- Credit Card Payments: Please note that credit card payments cannot be made through Smart Transactions at this time. For credit card payments, please use our online banking or mobile app.
Step 4: Transferring Funds
Transferring money between your accounts is simple and convenient.
Eligible Transfers can be made between your Ideal accounts where you are the primary owner (TRO) or a joint owner. This makes it easy to manage your money and ensure funds are where you need them.

IDA can direct you to the department that your application is associated with, but cannot provide you with status updates at this time.
Can I speak with a live member service representative if my question can’t be answered?
Yes, if IDA cannot answer your question, during business hours you will be given the option to call or chat with a Contact Center representative.

Will IDA authenticate my account before revealing private information?
Yes, when you use IDA to view any personal account information, you will be asked for your account number and the last four digits of your social security number. You will then receive a code via text or email that you’ll use to log in.

How do I skip using IDA? I only want to speak to a live person.
