Voice ID is a new feature available through Ideal Credit Union’s updated phone system, allowing members to use their unique voice as a secure way to access account information—no passwords or PINs needed!

This cutting-edge technology leverages biometrics to enhance both security and convenience. Unlike traditional authentication methods that rely on passwords, secret questions or possession of a device, Voice ID provides stronger protection and simplifies your experience by reducing wait times and eliminating complex login steps.


How Can I Enroll in Voice ID?

Enrolling in Voice ID is quick and easy, requiring just a few minutes for a one-time setup:

  1. Start with Standard Verification
    During your call, you’ll complete the standard verification process by entering a code sent to your email or phone.

  2. Sign the Consent Form
    If you choose to enroll, you’ll receive a consent form and a security document via email. Simply sign and return these electronically to proceed.

  3. Create Your Voiceprint
    During the same call or a future one, you’ll be prompted to repeat a specific phrase three times into your phone to complete the setup.

Important: Be sure to call from the phone number linked to your account.


Can I Still Speak with a Person?

Absolutely! If the new system can’t quickly assist you, you’ll always have the option to speak with a member of our Contact Center during regular business hours.
